Patsy Dell (Jones) Brown Prevett, a longtime and former resident of the Wilson Community, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 83. Patsy was born on December 24, 1933 in Bryant, Oklahoma to Willis Ainsley Jones and Lilla (Kennedy) Jones Laughlin.

Patsy grew up in the Wilson Community and attended Wilson Public Schools, where she graduated from high school. After high school, Patsy attended Draughan School of Business and received her Associate's degree there. Following her college experience, Patsy moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma where she worked for Phillips Petroleum Company. She later moved to Muskogee, where she met her husband, Dean Brown. Patsy and Dean were joined in marriage on December 7, 1952 at the Wilson Baptist Church in the Wilson community. They remained happily married for 48 years until his death in 2000. Patsy was later remarried to Eugene Tiger Prevett in September 2002 . Patsy and Eugene remained married until his death in 2004.

Patsy was well-known and loved for her musical abilities, as she served as the church pianist for many Baptist Churches which she attended. She loved to garden and was an avid reader. She absolutely loved her international travels with her husband. Patsy was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother and she will be missed by the many people who loved and met her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dean Brown; her second husband, Eugene Tiger Prevett, by her mother and father; and her sister, Dolores Phillipe.

Patsy is survived by her daughter, Kathy Bowen and husband Allen of Jenks; a son, Dana Brown and wife Janet of Tulsa; grandson, Trey Bowen and wife Lacy of Tulsa; step-children, Deidre Prevett and Donald Prevett, both of Owasso; step grandchildren, Kaytie Fratzke and Chloe Naylor, both of Tulsa; a great granddaughter, Aubrey Bowen of Tulsa; by many cousins and other extended family; as well as many good friends.

Viewing for Patsy will be held at Integrity Funeral Service on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from noon until 8:00pm and on Sunday, June 18, 2017 from noon until 8:00pm. The family will be present from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Saturday evening to greet guests at the funeral home.

A funeral service for Patsy will be held at 10:00am on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Interment will follow immediately afterwards at Salt Creek Cemetery in the Wilson Community under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Trey Bowen, Jordan Fratzke, Zane Cook, Steve Cook, Donald Prevett, and Allen Bowen. Honorary bearers will be Bill Mathis, Jack Mathis and Ronald Black.
