In Henrietta.....you were one of the many kids that hung out at our house....I messed with you a lot....you were so gullible.....you and Cissy were such good friends....I enjoyed having you around....there as well as here in Missouri......you were a good kid....we all loved you! Wow, quite a shocker; we are so very sorry for your loss; I have a lot of good memories of Travis; he & our daughter Jennifer were playmates some 30+ years ago.

I know that you do not know me, but I wanted to reach out to you and give my deepest sympathy at this difficult time. I knew Travis a lifetime ago when we were kids; he meant more to me than he probably ever knew. You have to understand, I was the new kid who sounded funny, and had a funny name, and I quickly became the brunt of everyone's jokes--but not Travis. He introduced me to Metallica, and did not care if I was different. He gave me a gift that I still carry with me today--acceptance to be who I was and too be comfortable with who I am. I will always be grateful for that gift. It has been 17 years since I moved from Oklahoma and lost contact, but I never forgot about him; my children even know of him. Sometimes we walk through this life and never know how many lives are changed by our sheer presence--Travis changed my life. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.
