Roger Earl Nuckolls, a lifetime resident of Dewar passed away Saturday, April 8th, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 60. He was born July 31, 1956 in Henryetta to Robert Earl (Bob) Nuckolls and Patsy (Stidman) Nuckolls. Roger was a graduate of Dewar High School Class of 1974. He worked for over thirty years in the oil field industry and was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob & Patsy Nuckolls, as well as two sisters, Peggy Marcell Britt and Pamela Gail Lee.

He married Brenda Pollard June 10, 1978 in Schulter. He and Brenda were soon to celebrate 39 years of marriage this June.

He is survived by his wife Brenda of the home in Dewar;
Three daughters, Patricia Marcell Olazabal & husband Michael of Henryetta;
Latishia Gail Silkwood & husband Kevin of Henryetta;
Alishia Ann Nuckolls of the home in Dewar;
Five grandchildren: Vicki Gaylynn Faulkner, Cash Earl Faulkner, Nikki Ray Faulkner, Blake Robert Silkwood, & Pasly Louann Silkwood;
One brother, Dale Nuckolls & wife Kay of Fletcher;
As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Viewing will be on Tuesday, April 11th from 5 - 8 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Thursday from 8 a.m. until noon.

Pallbearers will be, Matthew Sherrill, Joe Sherrill, Nicholas Pollard, Eric Henley, Ryan Painter, & Ricky Kusler. Honorary pallbearers will be T. J. Pollard and Steven Nuckolls.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Salt Creek Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
