Our Dearest Family,
Please know of our love and our prayers for each of you. What a beautiful lady and oh how Emmett loved her. She loved you kids so much. Treasure all the precious memories. Janice Stewart and I were in the same class at Dewar School and Leona always had time for us girls. God bless you all. And LaDonna you were the daughter she never had. She loved you so much. And thank you Denny and Bruce for being such wonderful sons. Our love, Sonny & Linda Been

I will always remember Emmett building a wonderful "cabin" for them to live in while they built their new house. I was a very "young" woman then, but the memory of the smell of bread baking and the aroma of food cooking in that cozy little cabin(which later became their chicken house) has always been with me. Denny what a faithful son you were--checking on your Mom everyday- taking her to all her Drs appts--going out there at night because she couldn't quite figure out how to get her TV to do what she wanted it to do--Well done good and faithful servant. I know Bruce was there every weekend--I can still see he and his Mom sitting in the booth at Braums when I would drive by. Leona was a classy Lady--the only person I knew that would dress up just to go to the grocery store--yet she was a tough little pioneer woman--mowed her own grass and tended to all her needs as long as she could. I know you boys and my precious sister LaDonna will miss her terribly--my thoughts and prayers to all of you
