James Edward Russell, a resident of Dewar, passed away July 18, 2016 in Dewar, OK at the age of 75. He was born January 12, 1941 on Tiger Mountain, OK to Henry Lee Russell & Mary Mae Magdelene (Wills) Russell.

He served with Army National Guard for several years.

He married Hazel brown on August 28, 1960 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Floyd Russell, three sisters, Ruby Coates, Faye Shawdah, & Nancy Long. Also by a son, James Delbert Russell.

James is survived by his wife, Hazel Russell of the home,
son, James H. Russell & Samantha Wyrick of Henryetta,
daughter Ruby Sands & husband Bobby of Pleasant Valley, Oklahoma,
daughter, Tonya Lynn Russell of Dewar,
son, Greg Nicholson of Denver, Colorado,
15 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren,
brother, Curt Russell of Tiger Mountain,
Charlie Russell of Bing, Oklahoma,
Dee Russell of Eufaula,
Lee Russell of Muldrow,
and Billy Russell of Henryetta,
sister, Sarah Ann Kidwell of Henryetta,
as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be from 2-8 pm on Wednesday, July 20 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Dewar First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at New Sonora Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta.
