Virginia L. Matthews

Virginia Louise Matthews of Henryetta, Oklahoma passed away Monday November 7, 2022 at the age of 92.

Before retirement, Virginia worked for years as an office administrator, and was a long term member of the Gospel Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church of Henryetta.

She was preceded in death by her son Larry Smith, first husband L.B. Smith, second husband Delbert Matthews, grandson Larry Brian Smith, 3 sisters, Sue Dean, Delores Chance, and Millie Burgess.

Virginia is survived by her son Richard Lloyd Smith and wife Susan, daughter Phyllis Carol Stanke and husband Claude, sister Kerry Lierly and husband Joe Bill, and sister Melba Snider, grand daughter Kelsey and husband Vincent Anderson, grandsons Keith Smith and wife Shelby, Dennis Smith and wife Michelle, Bart Walker and wife April, and Damon Smith and wife Susan, great grandsons, Drake Smith, Andrew Walker, Colt Walker, Nicolas Smith and Oscar Smith, great grand daughters Keely Goff, Baily Smith, Emily Smith, Audrey Walker, Gracie Anderson, and Jillian Anderson.

Serving as pallbearers are Dennis Smith, Keith Smith, Damon Smith, Bart Walker, Andrew Walker, and Drake Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers are Nicolas Smith, Claude Stanke, Vincent Anderson, Joe Bill Lierly, and Skip Burgess.

Viewing will be Tuesday, November 8th at Integrity Funeral Service from 2-8 pm.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 9th at 2 pm in the Integrity Chapel. Internment will follow at the New Sonora Cemetery with Rev. Mick Snider and Rev. Josh Bauer, officiating.
