Verba Dell Piatt

Verba Dell Piatt went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 30, 2020 in Henryetta OK. Verba was born on November 11, 1931 in Edmond, OK to John and Lorene Beagle. She was married for almost 60 years to the love of her life, Harold R. Piatt, at Hopewell Baptist Church in Edmond, OK, on December 29, 1952. They enjoyed living near their families in Edmund, OK for the first five years of their marriage, Albuquerque, New Mexico for the next 52 years and their final move was to Henryetta, Oklahoma in 2009.

Verba was a longtime and active member of Hoffmantown Baptist Church in Albuquerque with Harold, serving in many capacities, including church secretary and Sunday School teacher. One of the many ways Verba loved others was through her gifts of hospitality as she cooked and served selflessly. She worked for 25 years for the Department of Defense in Albuquerque after which she and Harold enjoyed traveling together in their motor home, visiting almost every state in the United States. As a loving wife, mother and grandmother, Verba lived a life that reflected her faith in Christ Jesus.

her husband, Harold Piatt, grandson, Michael Piatt, father, John Beagle, mother, Lorene Beagle, brother, Roy Beagle and sister, Eva Henry.

A funeral service for Verba will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Integrity Chapel with
officiating pastors, Pastor Randy Piatt and Pastor Tom Radigan. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
