Stella Lee Avriett

A vibrant life came to an end on December 29, 2021 when Stella Lee Avriett was called home with the Lord. Stella was born on February 19, 1931 to Cephus and Ida Mae Walker in Hanna, Oklahoma.

Stella graduated from Clearview High School and attended Nilar Jewel Beauty College, graduating in 1957 with a certificate of cosmetology.

Early in life, she met and married Roy Avriett. Together they raised their daughter Caroletta Avriett. She was also a mother figure to Ida Mae Brunner and Annette Johnson.

Throughout her life she worked in various careers. She was an organizer for the Beauty Culture League, a Sunday School teacher, a caretaker, a Christian speaker, and a professional chef in her free time, Stella loved to cook, watch NBA games, and enjoy western T.V. shows. She also had passion for horses and rodeos.

Stella will be remembered as always having a calm and patient demeanor. She was willing to help anyone she could, whenever she could. Her heart was big and her door was always open to those in need. She loved to make people feel warm and welcomed no matter the situation. She was a loving mother, a sweet grandmother, amazing friend, wonderful wife, and a beautiful spirit. She will certainly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her father Cephus Walker, her mother, Ida Mae Walker, her siblings, Creasy Mae Walker, Dennis Walker, Martha King, Howard Walker, and Lorene (Walker) Carbins.

She leaves behind her daughters Caroletta Avriett of Tulsa, OK, Annette Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK, grandchildren Ashley Gresham, Aaron Gresham, Anthony Gresham, Jordan Gresham of Tulsa, OK, Gary Redd of Temple, TX, Debra Redd of Oklahoma City, OK, Yolanda Pretlow of Douglasville, GA, Kristal Milner, Kaliyah Milner, and Kameron Milner of Arlington, TX, Kathleen McFrazier of Grand Prairie, TX, Bettye Milner of Mansfield TX, along with many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Viewing and Visitation is scheduled for 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 7th, 2022 at Integrity Funeral Service, 410 East Trudgeon, Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Funeral Service is scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday January 8th, 2022 at Silver Springs Baptist Church at Tiger Mountain.

Interment to follow at 1:30 PM at Robinson-Renties Community Cemetery on East 1070 Road, Henryetta, Oklahoma

Services under the direction of Integrity Funeral SErvice, 410 East Trudgeon, Henryetta, Oklahoma.
