Retha Smith Sisney was born June 15, 1928 in McIntosh County to Fred Smith & Mayola Huff Smith. She passed away, Friday, November 13, 2009 in Claremore at the age of 81. She married Elmer Lee Sisney June 9, 1951 in Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Elmer in 1971, 1 son, Allen Lee Sisney, 3 brothers, Willis Smith, Troy Smith, & Robert Smith. 3 sisters, Rita Walters, Pauline Maxwell & Brenda Smith.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Nadine Sisney Harris of Tulsa, Donna Lisa Hall & husband Larry of Claremore, 3 brothers, Junior Lee Smith & wife Janie of Tulsa, Gerald Smith & wife Linda of Henryetta, Don Smith & wife Paula of Dewar, 1 sister, Wilma Henderson & husband Harold of rural Henryetta, Also a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Gary Smith, Bruce Smith, Don Marks, Casey Marks, Mohammed Shaikh, & James Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Henderson & Lewis Walters.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 16, 2009 at the Dewar United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Guy Godwin, officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
