Obituary

Philip Melvin Williams, 64, (GRANDPA) passed away on April 3, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Phil, was born on July 6, 1958, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Pauline Annabelle (Winn) and Melvin Ray Williams.

Phil, as he was called by family and friends- and Grandpa to us, lived a full and fulfilling life. He was the 6th out of 7 siblings and preceded in death by parents Melvin and Pauline Williams, sister, Christine Minyard, brother-in-law, Tony Minyard, sister-in-law, Susan Williams.

Phil married young to Tammy Kaler, divorced, yet remained friends with her throughout the years. Phil loved his job as a CNC machinist, where he was known for his charm and skill. He was also a member of the Feed the Children organization, where he used his resources to help the less fortunate. Phil's contributions did not go unnoticed, and he was awarded the Supervisory Award for his exceptional work. Phil loved his country life and small-town living. He was very friendly and quick to spark up a conversation with anyone at his local diner he frequented weekly. His smile was contagious and had a funny sense of humor. He was always ready with a joke or a witty remark. He loved metaldetecting, fishing, being outdoors and he enjoyed time spent at the Casinos and shopping. Phil was a man who embraced life with open arms and gave his last to anyone in need. Phil will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He will always be remembered by his nice smile, good hair and unconditional love. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the kindness he showed to everyone. We will carry on his legacy by celebrating him and his life forever! Grandpa, we love you and will miss you dearly.

Phil was immensely proud of his family and always had a kind word to say about them. Phil is survived by his two daughters, Shannon Williams-Felton and husband James and Stephanie Pippenand husband, David. He had six grandchildren, Madison and spouse Kaleb Creamer-Schenck, Jagger, Jeheiel, Jrameir, Dax and Olivia. He had one great grandson, Jack, the apple of his eye.

Viewing and Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 25th, 2023 from 3:00pm-8:00pm.

Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Williams' Family Cemetery.

At this time, we ask that you extend your love, warm thoughts and help to our family as we celebrate the life of our Grandpa (Phil) by taking part in either viewing or by visiting https://everloved.com/life-of-philip-williams/
