Peggy Joyce (Driskell) Williams

Peggy Joyce Williams, a resident of Henryetta passed away peacefully in her home with her adopted daughter Bethany Waddle-Farley on November 21, 2018. Peggy was born in Alex, OK on March 21, 1934 to Robert and Ocie Driskell. She was the youngest of five children.

Peggy is preceded in death by her first husband, Dalton Richard, second husband Roy Williams, as well as her parents and siblings Inez Thurston, Melvin Driskell, Bobby Driskell, Delores Stephenson and her step son Larry Don Williams.

While she was married to Dalton, they ran a dairy farm in California, took in foster children, raised German Shepherds for the blind, and had two children of their own, Mark Richard & Greg Richard. The family eventually moved back to Oklahoma.

Peggy was working for Western Electric when she met her last husband Roy Williams, they moved to Broken Bow where they ran a marina & kept their granddaughter Sarah Linley in the summer months. When they retired they moved to Henryetta where Peggy continued to live until her passing. Well known in the family as one for a good joke, she was a classy but at times sassy lady. Well loved & well respected by many.

She is survived by her sons Greg Richard & Mark Richard, her step children Becky Jo Williams & Greg Williams, 17 grand children, 20 great grandchildren & many loving nieces, nephews & lots of friends including James & Beth Fisher and Larry & Pat Phillips.

Pallbearers will be Carman Richard, Rhett Williams, Kyler Horsford, Bryce Farley, Clayton Farley and Chris Linley. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Richard, James Fisher, Larry Phillips, Raymond Davis and Colt Williams.

A family only viewing will be held Dec 5th from 5pm-7pm and a public viewing will be held Dec 6th from 8am-8pm. Services will be held Friday December 7th at 2pm at Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta, Ok with Don Carlson officiating.
