Paul James Davidson was born August 10, 1927 in Henreytta, OK to David Davidson and Geneva Schlicker Davidson. He passed from this life on Sunday, January 24, 2010 in Talihina, Oklahoma at the age of 82. Paul attended school and graduated in 1945 from St. Michaels School. He was a longtime member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Henryetta. Paul married Anna Ferrero on November 13, 1948 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Henryetta. Paul was a veteran of World War II. He was also a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of The American Legion. He was retired after a career in the independent grocery business. Paul is preceded in death by both his parents; a son, David Davidson; and one sister, JoAnne Murray.
He is survived by is wife, Anna Ferrero Davidson of the home; a daughter, Paula Davidson Wood of Oklahoma City; 4 grandchildren, Valerie Davidson Bryant and husband Teddy of Henryetta, Crystal Davidson of Tulsa, Michael Paul Wood of Edmond, and John Roland Wood of Annandale, on Hudson, New York;
2 great grandchildren, Casey Bryant and Hanna Bryant of Henryetta; a sister-in-law, Barbara Blair and husband Buddy of Tulsa; many good friends and extended family.
Viewing and visitation will be held at Integrity Funeral Service on Monday from 5pm to 8pm, and on Tuesday from 8am to 5pm.
A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 7pm at St. Michaels Church. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 10am at St. Michaels Church with Fr. Peter Phung officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Westlawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
Pallbearers will be Bernie Althaus, Mick Rangel, John Doneti, Norman Lowe, Ernest Garcia, and Michael Paul.
