Nora Tamplen

Nora May (Ellis) Tamplen, 73, a resident of Salina, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, March 24th, 2022 in Salina, Oklahoma. Nora was born February 24th, 1949 in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma to Nora May (Hayes) and Harvey Nathaniel Ellis.

Nora married the love of her life, Robert E. (Pete) Tamplen in September 1967. The enjoyed many years of marriage before his passing in August 2013. Nora enjoyed many things including being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and sewing. Before her retirement, she enjoyed her work as a Nurses Aide

Those preceding her in death are her parents, Harvey and Nora Ellis, her husband Robert E. (Pete) Tamplen, siblings, Harvey Ellis, Jr., Benny Ellis, Joe Ellis, Harold Ellis, Johnnie Ellis, Robert Ellis, Rebecca Ellis, Josephine Bectol, Patricia Phelps Linda Gaches and granddaughter Stephanie Tamplen.

Those left to cherish Nora's memory are sons, Robert N. Tamplen and wife Jennifer of Morris, Oklahoma, Kenneth R. Tamplen of Sayre, Oklahoma, Joe A. Tamplen and wife Shannon of Claremore, Oklahoma seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews as well as a host of other dear relatives, friends and her little doggie Nacho.

Visitation is scheduled for 3:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday March 31st, 2022 at Integrity Funeral Service, 410 East Trudgeon, Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Graveside Service is scheduled for 2:00pm Friday April 1st, 2022 at the Pavilion of Bowers Cemetery, approximately four and 1/2 miles East of Eufaula, Oklahoma on Highway #9. The Pavilion is located at the very back of the cemetery.

Officiating will be Nora's nephew, Pastor Robert Gaches
