Newman Taylor

Mr. Newman Taylor,73, a resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, December 31st, 2021 at his home in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Newman was born February 14th, 1948 in Henryetta, to Ella (Walker) and Bennie Taylor.

Newman is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Thelma Jane Harley, and stepchildren: Irene Lewis and Andrew Long.

Newman was raised in the Henryetta area, attending school at Graham where he graduated. Upon his graduation, he was drafted into the United States Army where he served his country proudly for four years. He returned home and went to work for a tree trimming company in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He would go on to work as a paint and body man before moving to Eufaula where he worked for the Ford Dealership in paint and body. This became his lifelong vocation from which he retired. During his life he enjoyed playing Bingo and visiting the casinos. He loved his grandchildren, playing baseball and watching all the other sports on television. He and his friends truly enjoyed these activities together. Newman had a large family that loved him and will miss him in the days to come.

Newman is survived by his wife Netta Jean (Jacobs) of the home, sister, Hettie Taylor, brother: Roley Taylor, daughter: Candice Taylor, 4 stepchildren, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and six, great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other loved ones.

Viewing and Visitation is scheduled for 3:00PM to 6:00PM Monday, January 3rd, 2022 at Integrity Funeral Service 410 East Trudgeon, Henryetta, Oklahoma

Wake Service is scheduled for 6:00PM Monday, January 3rd, 2021 At Integrity Funeral Service Chapel.

Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00PM Tuesday at Integrity Funeral Service Chapel, Henryetta, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Long Family Cemetery.
