Nannie (Watts) Lewis

Nannie (Watts) Lewis a resident of Dustin, passed away February 06, 2020 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 97. She was born Saturday, December 2, 1922 in Hughes County, OK to Lumber Proctor & Minnie (Watts) Proctor.

On March 28,1948 she married Sonnie Lewis Kano in McIntosh County. They were married for 66 years. She enjoyed going to the Wetumka Indian Center to eat and visit with friends. She also liked to bead, sew, quilt tops, garden and color. Nannie loved spending time with family and her cats.

She is preceded in death by one son, Gary Ray"Chebon" Lewis; three grandchildren, Taryn Lewis and Kalyda Howard, Terrance Marshall; her parents, Minnie and Lumber Proctor, and her close cousin, Charlie Proctor.

She is survived by four children, Minnie McCulley of Dustin, OK, Lela M. James of Tulssa, OK, Jerry Lewis of Dustin, OK, and Maggie Lewis of Weleetka, OK and grandchildren, Rhina, Lou, Akeyah, Zac, Charity, Jovenna, Tory, Tishanne, Cameron, Devon, Larinda, Adrienne, Casey, Holly, Shyla, Katrina, Alex, Ryan, Hokkolen, Farran, Richard Jr., Sandy, Nancy, Lisa, Tara, Melissa, Thomas and Darrell, 58 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Viewing will be 2-4 PM on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Integrity Funeral Home.

Wake Services are scheduled for Monday, February 10, 2020 at 7PM at Weogufkee Indian Baptist Church in Hanna.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 2PM at Weogufkee Indian Baptist Church in Hanna with Pastor Mark Smith and Pastor Charles Mitchell, officiating. Interment will follow at the Lewis Family Cemetery near Vernon, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
