Michael Douglas (Nelson) Rivera

Michael Douglas Rivera, 53, resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, August 17th, 2021 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Michael was born December 14th, 1967 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Frank and Sharon (Elliot) Rivera.

Michael was married to his wife Janette on June 4th, 1992 in Arkansas. He worked as a sandblaster for Elastomer Specialties. He was the Founder of Okmulgee Runners and Running For Christ.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Frank; brother, Frank, sister, Diana, grandmother Carlotta and grandfather, Frank.

Those left to cherish Michael's memory are his wife, Janette, of the home; children, Jorden, Autumn, Miguel, Jefrey and Taylor; mother Sharon Rivera, of Henryetta, Oklahoma, parents-in-law Janet and Ronnie and a plentiful number of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Viewing and Visitation will be 3:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, August 20th, 2021at Integrity Funeral Service, 410 East Trudgeon, Henryetta, Oklahoma

Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00PM Saturday August 21st, 2021 at the Church of Christ, 413 W Broadway, Henryetta, Oklahoma

Pallbearers serving will be: Miguel Rivera, Ronnie Nelson, Jeffrey McCaslin, Richard Rivera and John Nelson

Honorary Pallbearers serving are: John Rivera, Ronnie Nelson, Jr., and Joe Rivera
