Mary Price Obituary
Mary Joyce Price, a resident of Glenpool, passed away October 11, 2021 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 74. She was born Sunday, May 25, 1947 in Bakersfield, CA to Claude Garrett & Nellie Evelyn Garrett.
Joyce had two children, a son Jeffrey Price of Tehachapi, California and one daughter Kathrine Gunter (Price) of Glenpool, Oklahoma. Joyce touched many lives. she came in contact with by her big heart and caring spirit. She was best known to everyone as "Gram" and over the years she watched many children in her home and built many longlasting relationships that will last a lifetime. Her biggest accomplishment would be her unconditional love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Nellie Garrett, three brothers: Tom Garrett, Wayne Garrett, Danny Garrett; as well as other extend family.
Joyce is survived by her two children, Jeffrey Price of Tehachapi, California and Kathrine Gunter of Glenpool, Oklahoma; four grandchildren: Mary Putman and husband, Danny of Beggs, Oklahoma, Nicole Price of Tehachapi, California, Brooklyn Gray of Glenpool, Oklahoma and Jenna Price of Tehachapi, California; nine great grandchildren Abigal, Alabama, Shooter and Jett Ogle, Jocee, Isabella and Memphis Putman of Beggs, Oklahoma, Eleanor Price and Alan Price-Olms of Tehachapi, California; one sister Pat Johnson of Glenpool, Oklahoma; three brothers, Kenneth Garrett of San Antonio, Texas, Jim Garrett of Henryetta, Oklahoma, and Alan Garrett of Tehachapi, California and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
