Laverne Long Obituary
Laverne Eugene Long, a resident of Beggs, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 in Beggs, OK at the age of 86. He was born July 16, 1933 in Abilene, TX to Charlie Jasper Long & Ida Viola Long.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Jack, Hoppy, and Howard Long, and two sisters; Bernice Appleton, and Delois Henry.
Laverne is survived by his wife JoAnn of Beggs,
four children; Angela Melton of Oklahoma City,
Freddy Long & wife Teresa of Henryetta,
Julie Hightower of Glenpool,
and Jerre Long & wife Rachel of Tulsa,
eight grandchildren,
Ryan Rodriguez, Ashley Johnston, Treven Hightower, Allie Ward, Riley Long, Katie Long, Alex Long, and Tyler Long, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
So services are planned at this time.
