Kenneth LeRoy VanMeter

Rev. Kenneth L. VanMeter, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 90. He was born on October 19, 1930 in Hartshorne, OK to David VanMeter & Bessie (Emberson) VanMeter.

He was a minister of the Gospel of Jesus and founded the Evangelistic Center in Henryetta along with his wife Lucille in 1965.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille, his parents, sisters; Wanda Estep, Jean Johnson, and Ruby Baker, brothers; Vernon and David Jr..

Kenneth is survived by his son, Norman VanMeter & wife Deloris of Henryetta,
daughter, Elaine Foster & husband Sonny of Henryetta,
grandchildren; Laura Lord & husband Doug of Seminole, Kent VanMeter & wife Vickie of Henryetta, Caleb VanMeter & wife Ginny of Henryetta, Lalena Owens & husband John of Henryetta, Delilah Lawson & husband Larry of Atlanta, Georgia, Chad Foster & wife Stacy of Seminole, and Brad Foster & wife Lela of Henryetta, 21 great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren, one brother, Carl VanMeter & wife Linda of Weleetka, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be from 6-8 PM on Monday, May 17 and from 8AM - 8PM on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Evangelistic Center in Henryetta. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.
