Jona Del Claiborne, a lifetime resident of Henryetta was born July 3, 1947 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Earl Francis and Johnnie (Gragg) Francis. She passed away, Sunday, August 29, 2010 in Stonebluff, Oklahoma at the age of 63. Jona worked at Bono Nursing Home for over 20 years. She was a member of Hoffman First Baptist Church.
Jona is preceded in death by her parents Earl & Johnnie Francis and a sister Earlene Collins.
She is survived by Her husband Bob Claiborne of the home
One son, James L. Claiborne & wife Lorrie of Stonebluff
Four grandchildren, Leslye Ann Goodner & Danny Piersol of Bixby
Rhino Goodner & wife Sammi of Bixby
Tabatha Sisco & husband Josh of Dongducheon, South Korea
Levi Claiborne & Tara Piersol of Tulsa
Six great grandchildren, Leigha & Olivia McNac of Bixby
Aidan Goodner of Bixby
Katalina & Wyatt Sisco of Dongducheon, South Korea

One brother, Dennis G. Francis & wife Nee of Broken Arrow
One brother-in-law, Bob Collins of Henryetta
As well as several nieces, nephews, a host of friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be, Mike Vail, Waylon Shields, Jack Fisher, Gregg Henry, John Mikulan, & Florentino Chairez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clarence Parker, Jerry Williams, & Randy Luellen.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Hoffman First Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Waites, officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery in Okemah, under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
