James Wallace Frye

James Wallace Frye, a resident of Tulsa passed away Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 in Salina at the age of 60. He was born February 22nd, 1961 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Harbie Frye, Sr. and May (Smith) Frye.

James married Dianne Whitaker, September 29th, 2019 in Salina, Oklahoma. He worked for the Tulsa Public Schools for many years. He is a member of the Yardeka Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Robert & Johnny Frye, sister, Mary Frye and two nephews, Jason Waquie, and Damon Jeffreys.

He is survived by his wife Dianne of the home in Tulsa;
Two children, Malana Boffer of the home;
Isaiah Boffer of the home;
Three brothers, Will Frye of Salem Community;
Harbie Frye, Jr. & wife Cheryl of Guthrie;
Samuel Frye of Henryetta;
Four sisters, Fannie Frye of Henryetta;
Patricia Frye of Henryetta;
Carol Frye of Dewar;
Freda Fields of Okmulgee;
Also by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, as well as a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing for James will be from 2 - 6pm on Friday. Wake services will follow at 6pm at Integrity Chapel.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at Integrity Chapel. Interment will follow in Frye Family Cemetery in Salem. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
