Hope Hedrick

Marilyn Hope Hedrick, a resident of Henryetta passed away Monday, January 9th, 2023 in Henryetta at the age of 74. She was born September 11th, 1948 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Charles Newell and Nina (Darland) Newell.

She married Gene Hedrick February 15, 1985 in Miami Oklahoma. She retired from Department of Human Services as an area five supervisor, as well as assistant county administrator. She was a member of the Tri Sigma Sorority.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Linda and Karen, and a brother, Chip.

Hope is survived by her husband Gene Hedrick of the home;
Five children: Brent Hedrick & wife Kim of Florida;
Wade Hedrick & wife Asha of Henryetta;
Brandi Brown & husband Eddie of Henryetta;
Brian Austin & wife Carol of Denver, Colorado;
Kristie Wittman of Okmulgee;
Thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren;
Four sisters, Pam Bradley, Phyllis Yazi, Paula Summers & Sharon Austin;
Also by a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing for Hope will be from 3 - 8pm, Wednesday, January 11th, and 8am until noon on Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Wade Hedrick, Brian Austin, Truman Hedrick, Greyson Hedrick, Hunter Brown & Drew Brown.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 12th, 2023 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
