Estella Mae Francis, a loving, faith-filled, and selfless woman, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2023, in Dewar, Oklahoma after a short battle with illness. Born on November 15, 1948, in Pierce, Oklahoma,

A proud graduate of Seminole State College, Estella dedicated her professional life to serving others as a Registered Nurse. Her commitment to her patients and her compassionate nature made her a beloved figure in her community. Estella was known for her ability to brighten any room with her warm smile and kind heart, making her presence invaluable in her chosen field. Estella's personal life was centered around her deep love for her family, her friends, and her faith. She found great joy in reading the Bible, tending to her beautiful garden, and spending countless hours visiting with family and friends. Estella's unwavering faith and devotion to God were the foundation of her strength and resilience, inspiring those around her to live life with purpose and gratitude."Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet he shall live: and whosoever believeth in me shall never die. (John 11 25:26). This verse perfectly encapsulates the essence of Estella's life, as she faced every challenge with grace, determination, and an unwavering belief in the power of her faith. Estella remained a beacon of hope and inspiration to her loved ones and her community. Let us remember and celebrate Estella's life by embracing the lessons she taught us: to love unconditionally, to have faith in the face of adversity, and to cherish the moments spent with family and friends. Estella touched the lives of countless individuals with her unwavering love and devotion to her family, friends, and faith. Estella was the daughter of Stella Gray-Dan and Ragle "Blue" Warrior. She was predeceased by her husband, Mitchel Francis, her parents, her brothers Ellis "Bootsie" Dan, Raymond Dan, Jackson Dan, and Albert "Cookie" Dan, and her sisters Ethel Greenleaf, Annie Mae Lee, Rosie Warrior Hutton, and Ellen Colbert.

Estella is survived by her brother, William Gano Dan, her sister, Jennetta Lee, her three daughters Deanna Kay Peavler and husband Dusty, and Danna Smith and husband Tracy, and Donna Kaler along with her nine grandchildren including Brandy Frye Kaler, Bryan Kaler, Chad Kaler, Sheena Shatswell, Chasity Crane, Kandy Thomas, Megan Donathan, Alexandria Melson, and Coleton Melson, and twenty-five beloved great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a loving church family and countless nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish her memory.

Services will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service with Reverend Steve Clark officiating. There will a dinner served prior to the service for fellowship at the Dewar Indian Community Center at noon. Interment will be at Silver Spring Cemetery on Tiger Mountain.

Pallbearers include Dominic Celestine, Kaden Counterman, River Counterman, Bladen Kaler, Jaron Shatswell, Dathan Kaler, Levi Thomas, Trevin Kaler. Honorary pallbearers include Tracy Smith, Dusty Peavler, Howard Edmundson, Jeremy Shatswell, Gary Kaler, Jonathan Donathan, Derrick Brownfield, Chad Kaler and Coleton Melson
