Edward Melton, a resident of Henryetta, passed away September 21, 2022 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 78. He was born Monday, August 7, 1944 in Hitchita, OK to John Melton & Ivaline (Scott) Melton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters; Johnny Mae Fox, Doris Galbreath, and Maxine Adams.
Edward is survived by his three children; Edward Delano Melton of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Lucretia Annette Melton of Ada, Oklahoma, and Kimberly Joe Melton of Bixby, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, siblings; Barbara McDermott of Okmulgee, Helen Melton of California, Charles Melton of Checotah, Ivalene Melton of Okmulgee, John Melton Jr. of Henryetta, Sharon Melton Deane of Tulsa, and Donna Melton Smith of Tulsa, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.
