Dickey Smith Obituary
Dickey Ted Smith, a resident of Hoffman, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 in Hoffman, OK at the age of 68. He was born January 6, 1954 in Okmulgee, OK to Dennis Ted Smith & Roberta Hope (Goff) Smith.
Dickey enjoyed golf, OU Football, and tinkering with his tools in the barn. He greatly enjoyed restoring older tools to make them usable and new again.
He dearly loved his grandchildren, he loved watching them play in any sport they were involved in. He had such a competitive spirit and always looked forward to family fun days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Hope Smith, brother, Dennis Edward Smith, brother, Douglas Bruce Smith, nephews, Davy Jess Smith, and Bryan Cash Childress.
Dickey is survived by his wife, LouAnn McIntosh Smith of the home, son, Jody Smith & wife Robin of rural Henryetta, daughter, Jill Smith of Bixby, son, Jace Smith & wife Jennifer (Rogers) of rural Henryetta, six grandsons; Ryan Cole, Cody Joss, Dalton Ted, Dakoda Blake, Conner Steven, and Levi Jace, one great grandson, Colton Smith, one grand daughter, Kaitlynn Hope Smith (our princess), one sister, Judy Beth Childress & husband Bill of Stillwater, one brother-in-law, Casey McIntosh & wife Shirley of Dewar, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will hold private services at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
