Debbie Starr Obituary
Deborah Kay Starr was born on December 10, 1957, to Edward and Dicey Barnett. Debbie passed away on the morning of April 15, 2023, in Tulsa, OK.
Debbie loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren play sports. She loved spending time with her mom and making sure she was taken care of. Debbie loved to travel, anytime ready for a roadtrip. She was an OKC Thunder fan for sure, she always tried to watch every game, unless they were losing. Go Thunder! She was a very easy-going person, loved talking and laughing with everyone, especially Debbie Bear. She always had a positive attitude, was very kind-hearted and also very inquisitive.
She is survived by her children. Amy and husband Michol Jordan of Coweta, OK., Menewa Starr of Chouteau, OK., Chutto and wife Heaven Starr of Coweta, OK., and Tara Starr of Chouteau, OK. Grand kids: Blayton Starr, Xander Jordan, Myrical Starr, Jacob Starr, Liam Starr, Dovie Flanagan, Jayda Jordan, Noah Starr, and Yvhv Miller. Great grandkids: Nakotah and Nakiah Starr. She is also survived by her Mother Dicey Barnett and Brothers Daniel Barnett, Bruce Barnett, Thomas Barnett and Tyrone Barnett and Sisters Karen Barnett and Elaine Barnett.
She is preceded in Death by her Father Edward Barnett, Sister Thomasena Barnett and one niece Shaunday Little.
Pallbearers: Menewa Starr, Blayton Starr, Xander Jordan, Jacob Starr, Micah Little, Brian Barnett, Erik Barnett, Chutto Starr. Honorary Pallbearers: Liam Starr, Noah Starr, Daniel Barnett, Bruce Barnett, Nakotah Starr.
Wake services will be held on April 17, 2023, at 7pm - 8pm at the Wilson Indian Community Center in Henryetta, Oklahoma. The funeral service will be at the Wilson Indian Community Center on April 18, 2023, at 2 pm. Immediately following, the burial will be held at the Barnett Family Cemetery.
