Charles Lay Obituary
Charles D. Lay, a resident of Schulter, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 82. He was born March 5, 1938 in Henryetta, OK to Grady Henry Lay & Minnie (Sorrels) Lay.
He was a member of Bristow's Apostolic Community Church.
He was also served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Karen Lay Thompson, and by one sister, Wynona Casey.
Charles is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janna Lay of the home,
son, Karl Lay & wife Sonia of Grenada Hills, California,
grandchildren; Ivan Lay, Dennis Thompson Jr., and Wade Thompson,
great grandchildren; Sidney Lay, Ivy Lay, Eli Thompson, Parker Thompson, Zane Thompson, and Devin Thompson,
brother, Grady Lay of Hartville, Missouri,
sister, Ruth Anderson of Schulter,
brother, Bill Lay of Henryetta,
sister, Pat Henley of Henryetta,
as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Dewar United Pentecostal Church Fellowship Hall with Rev. Duane Henley, officiating.
