Caroline Ruth Svendgard

Caroline Johanna Ruth Svendgard, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away after a long illness on February 26, 2022 in Fort Smith, AR at the age of 76. She was born on February 1, 1946 in Henryetta, OK to Gerald Tanner Svendgard & Norma Ruth Ingles Svendgard. She moved to Okmulgee at the age of three and was raised by her step-father, Asa E. Streight and mother, Norma Ruth Ingles) Streight. All parents preceded her in death.

Survivors are her son, Michael Shawn Svendgard, his wife Kristen of Fort Smith, AR., and their children, Jennifer and her husband Ben Colwill, their children, Melanie and Caleb of Morris, OK, Jared Asa Svendgard, his children, Hannah and Asa Dean of Okmulgee county area, Caitlin and her husband, Allen Wiley of Fort Smith, AR., Jorden Leigh Svendgard of Fort Smith, AR., Kristoffer Mikael Svendgard of Fort Smith, AR., and Jaden Morgan of Fort Smith, AR.
Three brothers, Randy Streight and family of Texas, Dr. Robert Streight and family of Tulsa, OK., Col. Ricky Streight and family of Shawnee, as well as several wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Wesley VanMeter, officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Westlawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
