Alice M Loyd

Alice M. Loyd, 81 of Dewar, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021, in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born July 3, 1940 in Henryetta to J.D. McComb and Opal (Sutterfield) McComb. She married Leon Loyd October 4th, 1957 in Visalia, California. Alice graduated with a degree in nursing and worked for several years in nursing homes and home health. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Loyd, her parents, J.D. and Opal McComb, and a brother, Danny McComb.

She is survived by three children, Anita Beth (Loyd) Brown & husband Max of Bentonville, Arkansas; Dennis Loyd & wife Lynn of Allen, Texas; Jamie (Loyd) Vegelahn & husband Pete of Peculiar, Missouri; Four grandchildren, Nichole Branch, Matthew Brown, Jeremiah Loyd and Jennifer Loyd, and seven great grandchildren; Two sisters, Dortha Zackery of Weleetka; Mary Cox and husband Ron of Collinsville; Also by two very special, faithful friends and constant companions – her ‘girls’, Happy and Molly; also by nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Visitation with family present will be on Tuesday, October 12th 2021 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating.
