Velma June McCarty

Velma June McCarty, a resident of Schulter, Oklahoma, passed away on July 3, 2026, in Schulter at the age of 75. She was born on January 7, 1951, in Springtown, Oklahoma, to Frank and Jewell McCarty.

Velma found joy in the simple things in life. She loved spending time outdoors, taking pride in her yard, and treasured the home she built and cared for throughout the years. More than anything, she cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jewell McCarty.

Velma is survived by her daughter, Teresa Long and husband, Fred, of Henryetta, Oklahoma, along with their children, Katie, Alex, and Tyler. She is also survived by her son, Cody Stanke and wife, Jennifer, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and their children, Nathan and Emily.
