Thomas Lee Martin, a resident of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away on February 21, 2026, Born on September 28, 1947, in Artesia, California, Thomas was the son of Lester Leroy Martin and Aleen Josephine Stekoll. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and carried that spirit of dedication throughout his life.
Thomas worked for over 40 years as a lineman with PSO and REC, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to serving his community. He was a faithful member of Wilson Baptist Church.
Thomas married the love of his life, Charlene Tippie Martin. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene, of the home; his children, Chuck Martin and wife Terri of Okmulgee, and Leslie Dodge and husband Clayton of Garber; and five cherished grandchildren: Jeremy, Courtney, Marah, Halee, and Alexis. Also, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He also leaves behind extended family and many friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother and one sister.
Thomas will be remembered for his steady presence, his devotion to his family, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, February 27, 2026 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Clayton Dodge officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.
