Thomas Patrick Lewis

Thomas Patrick Lewis, a resident of Dustin, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025 in Dustin, OK at the age of 39. He was born December 10, 1985 in Ada, OK to Jerry Lewis & Beverly (Sullivan) Lewis.

He was a citizen of the Muscogee nation and belonged to the Thlopthlocco Tribal Town.

Thomas grew up in Tulsa. As a young boy, he was very active in sports. He played T-ball, baseball, basketball and sandlot soccer. He was a cub scout with the Pack 2 Unit earning several badges and his Arrow of Light.

At the age of 12, Thomas relocated to Dustin, attending school in Dustin, earning his GED. He loved going to the "no - no" Casino. He enjoyed exploring in the woods. He loved spending time with his many friends whom he had a deep compassion for. He would take them something to eat if they were hungry and would help them with whatever they needed done.

He enjoyed drawing and tinkering with small engines.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mildred Harjo, Sonnie Lewis, and Nannie Lewis, his aunt Minnie McCulley and uncle Gary Lewis.

Thomas is survived by his parents Jerry & Beverly (Sullivan) Lewis of Dustin, one brother, Darrell Lewis of Dustin, two sons, Evitan Byrd Lewis of Weleetka, and Cheyahv John Lewis of Dustin, aunts, Lela (Richard) James of Tulsa, and Maggie Lewis of Weleetka, uncle, David (Linda) Birdcreek of Arkansas, plus several cousins, and other relatives and also by his dogs Ekv, Crackhead and Popeye.

Viewing will be from 3-8 PM, Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Mark Smith, officiating. Dinner will be served before the service at the Dustin Indian Community Center from 11-1 PM.

Arrangements with cremation to follow has been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.
