Tara Jean Johnson, 51, a resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Tara was born January 3rd, 1973 to Gale (Roberts) and Burman Hershal walker Jr. in Springfield, Missouri.

Tara grew up in California, where she attended school. After her school years, Tara married and started her family, who would keep her busy as a mother. She loved her children and would live her life expanding their world and hers also with many adventures. Tara was a smart woman, able to enter into the computer age with ease and ability. Her family said she had a photographic memory, the ability to work with her stepdad, who was a very positive influence Ken Wallace, as a mechanic on the cars she loved to drive. Tara is described as a tomboy, enjoying all things sport and very athletic. Tara was very energetic and outgoing, she made friends easily and was considered one of the "cool kids" . Tara was a mischievous girl willing to share her "knowledge" of things she shouldn't. Tara also worked as a Nurses Aide where she was able to use her many talents and abilities to help others. She also taught her sister to drive. Tara enjoyed spending time with friends and playing games like Bingo. Though life would sometimes beset her, Tara remained positive and enthusiastic. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Crystal, Michelle ,Travis James and Sierra, mother, Gale Shoults of Springfield, Missouri, sisters, Trena Smith of Rogersville, Missouri, Tina Walker Shoult of Springfield, Missouri, Tracey Wallace-Salazar of Stockton, Missouri and grandchildren Alyssa, Lexi, Kash, Kynli, Matthew, Taylor, Bailey, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at Highlandville, Cemetery, Highlandville, Missouri.
