Steven Chuck Monahwee, Jr.

Steven Chuck Monahwee Jr., a resident of Henryetta, passed away July 30, 2023 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 67. He was born Saturday, October 1, 1955 in Okmulgee, OK to Steven Chuck Monahwee Sr., & Ann Mae Monahwee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Sheril Murillo, Michael Monahwee, Renee Monahwee Buck, and Yommie Monahwee Sr.

Steven is survived by his children; Stena Lay & husband Brian of Henryetta, Terrae Smith & husband Paul of Dustin, and Emily Rust of Ponca City, brother, Darren Monahwee of Okmulgee, brother, Anthony Monahwee & wife Peggy of Muskogee, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Wake services will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at New Covenant Tabernacle in Grayson.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at New Covenant Tabernacle in Grayson with Rev. Robert Lay officiating. Interment will follow at Hoffman Cemetery in the Hoffman Community.

Pallbearers will be Yommie Monahwee Jr., Jeremy Monahwee, Jalen Monahwee, Theran Richards, Darrin Monahwee, and Bo Clark.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Lay and James Thompson.
