Sarah Arvella Mccroskey

Sarah Arvella McCroskey, a longtime resident of Henryetta passed away Saturday, December 16th, 2017 in Henryetta at the age of 90. She was born May 23, 1927 in Stoney Point, Arkansas to Harvey & Mae Snow. She married James m. McCroskey June 15, 1942 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. She worked as a nurses aide for many years at Henryetta Hospital, Bono Nursing Home, and Fountain View Manor.
She is preceded in death by one brother and four sisters, a grandson, Joseph McCroskey, Jr., and her husband James M. McCroskey.
She is survived by three sons:
Joseph D. McCroskey & wife Joyce of Crowley, Texas;
Larry W. McCroskey of Cordell;
Gary McCroskey of Henryetta;
Grandchildren, Cheryl Sheldnight, Bridget McCroskey, Lyndsey Mayes, Elizabeth McCroskey, James MCCroskey, Jimmy McCroskey, Jonathan McCroskey and thirteen great grandchildren.
Also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Viewing will be from 6-8 Monday, December 18th and 8am -12pm Tuesday at Integrity Funeral Service.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Westlawn Cemetery with Rev. Joe McCroskey officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
