Sandra Kaye Milam, a long time resident of Dewar, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, at the age of 84.
Sandra was born on June 8, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, to Herbert Weese and Irene (Welch) Weese. She moved to Dewar and made it her home for 84 years. On October 23, 1959, she married the love of her life, Charles Otto Milam, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Together they built a life centered around faith, family, and community.

She had worked at American Exchange Bank and later retired from First National Bank. After retiring she volunteered her time as secretary for the church. She was a faithful member of Dewar First Baptist Church, where she cherished her church family.

Sandra leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her sons, Scott Milam and wife Karen of Dewar, and Brad Milam of Dewar and companion LouAnn Smith; her grandchildren, Ryan Milam and wife Tanya of Beggs, Nicholas Milam and wife Brooke of McKinney, Texas, Cody Milam and wife Haley of Kingwood, Texas, and Alicia Williams and husband Jared of Henryetta; her great-grandchildren, Hudson Milam, Landen and Colby Milam, Boston and Maverick Williams, Creed and Porter Milam; her great-granddaughter, Heather Milam; her stepbrother, Doug Welch, and his wife Carol of Broken Arrow; her stepsister, Carol Griffin of Cleburne, Texas; as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends.
Sandra will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her steadfast faith, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on through the generations who were blessed to call her Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 6th at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment to follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
