Roy Nathaniel Coble, known as "Senior Roy," passed away on February 28, 2026, at St. Anthony Hospital at the age of 83.
Roy was born on June 5, 1942, in Littlefield, Texas, to Andrew Nathaniel Coble and Evie Gertie (Bates) Coble. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After his military service, Roy worked as an oil field worker in the oil and gas industry.
Roy was a patient and giving soul. He was known for teaching others how to do things and truly enjoyed helping people. Those who knew him will remember his steady presence, his willingness to lend a hand, and the wisdom he freely shared. To many, he was simply "Senior Roy," a name spoken with affection and respect.
He is survived by his son: Vince Coble and wife Cathy; grandchildren; Blake Coble and wife Kalie; Austin Coble; Patricia Fields and husband Michael; David Coble; and Sky Coble.
He also leaves behind his cherished great grandchildren: Parks Coble, Pistol Coble, Rumble Coble, Eleanor Coble, Garrett Coble, and Jaxson Fields.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Taronda; his grandson, Garrett Coble; his daughter, Mona Coble and eight siblings.
The family will host a graveside celebration of life on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Westlawn Cemetery.
Roy's legacy of kindness, service, and quiet strength will live on in the lives of all who were blessed to know him.
