Robert Nathaniel Tamplen

Robert Nathaniel Tamplen, a resident of Morris, passed away on November 23, 2025, in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 56. He was born on December 21, 1968, in Okmulgee, OK, to Robert Eugene Tamplen and Nora Mae (Ellis) Tamplen.

Robert enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he was known for his kind heart and gentle nature. Even throughout his lengthy illness, he never complained and faced each day with quiet strength.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nora.

Robert is survived by his wife, Jennifer Tamplen of the home; his brother, Joe Tamplen and Shannon of Salina, OK; his brother, Kenneth Tamplen; his in-laws, Joyce and Larry Maylen of Henryetta, OK; his sister-in-law, Beth Maylen and Toni of Morris, OK; and his faithful furry companion, Highball.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
