Richard Proctor, 57, passed away on April 3, 2026, at his home in Broken Arrow, OK.
Born on October 27, 1968, in Tahlequah, OK, Richard was the son of Minnie Proctor. He graduated from Hanna, OK, and dedicated over 20 years at the glass plant in Sapulpa after working as a pull-tab clerk at Tulsa Bingo.
Richard was a member of the Weogufkee church in Hanna and was well-known for his humor and calm demeanor. His passion in life was his art, he often drew pencil portraits of loved ones and silly cartoons on napkins. He was a devoted fan of OU football and never missed a game. Rock n' roll was the life he lived by, and he truly enjoyed spending his final days listening to his son Jack play the guitar. He was affectionately known by many nicknames such as Lecv, Cotton, Unc, Ozmo, and Pvwv Chili.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Barnett; children Brian Barnett and wife Candace Barnett of Kiefer, OK, Paige Proctor and husband Jeffrey Allen of Okmulgee, OK, and sons Dylan and Jack Proctor of Broken Arrow, OK. Siblings Darrell Proctor, Jeffrey Proctor and Judith Proctor. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Della Mae Proctor.
Viewing will be from 2-6 PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Integrity Funeral Service.
A wake service is scheduled for 6PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Integrity Chapel.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Weogufkee Church in Hanna with Rev. Jordan Samson, officiating. Interment will follow at Weogufkee Cemetery in Hanna, Oklahoma. Services are under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be his nephews; Micah Little, Vince Proctor, Jesse Proctor, Grant Proctor, Darrell Ray Proctor, Evan Tansey, Andy Proctor, and Josia Factor.
