Opal Ray Hunter Obituary Opal "Ray" Hunter, a resident of Okmulgee, was born on February 21, 1923. He passed away in Oklahoma City on Sunday, September 12, 2010. He was 87 years old. Opal preceded in death by his first wife, Eula, a son Gary Hunter and his brother and both parents. He is survived by his ex-wife and special friend Cora Hunter Davis of Boynton, OK, two grandchildren, Lisa Hunter and David Hunter of Tyler, TX, daughter-in-law Penny of Tyler, TX, son Jerry Hunter and family of Kansas, as well as many other relatives and friends. A Graveside Service had been scheduled for Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 2:00pm at the Westlawn Cemetery of Henryetta, OK. With Brother Jack Vance officiating. Services are under the direction of Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in henryetta.
