Myrtle Nettie Hall

April 2, 1944 — July 21, 2025

Myrtle Nettie Hall, a resident of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the age of 81. She was born on April 2, 1944, in Booneville, Arkansas.

Myrtle was known for her gentle and nurturing spirit. A devoted caregiver, she found joy in the simple things-fishing, reading, and most of all, spending time with her family. Together with her late husband, Jim Hall, she faithfully cared for the New Lake in Henryetta for many years. In recognition of Jim's dedication, the City of Henryetta renamed it "Jim Hall Lake" following his passing in 2003-a legacy Myrtle proudly carried forward.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Hall, her parents, Dovie Chance and Hugh Griffen Barnett, Sr.; son, Virgil Ray Hall, her brothers, Hugh Barnett Jr., Robert Barnett, David Smith, and Jerry Smith; and her sister, Nina Blaylock.

Myrtle is survived by her three sons: James Edward Hall and wife Lisa of Sperry, Ryan Lee Hall and wife Glynda of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Larry Gene Hall and wife Carla of Henryetta. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren-Jennifer, Richard, Allie, Darrel, Kaley Jo, Alex, Skylar, Paden, Ashley, Russell, Shannon, and Tylar-and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Delphia Arnold of Okmulgee, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service. A celebration of Myrtle's life will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Integrity Chapel, with interment to follow at Salt Creek Cemetery in the Wilson Community, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved Jim.
