Mose Danny Lindsey a resident of Dewar passed away, Friday, October 17th, 2025 in Okmulgee, at the age of 78. He was born May 6, 1947 in Henryetta to Buddy Lindsey and Melisa Wacoche Lindsey
Danny was an alumni of Sequoya High school where he graduated. He served with the United States Army during the Vietnam era.
He loved to attend church at Weogufkee Baptist Church in Hanna. He was also an avid OU fan and loved to eat. He loved to go to stomp dances and take his grandchildren to the movies. He was very proud of his Muscogee Creek Heritage. He loved sports especially football and basketball. He loved to pick wild onions and even had his secret place where he would gather them.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Buddy & Melissa Lindsey, grandchildren, Rebecca Lindsey and Jonathan Caywood. Also by siblings, Alex Lindsey, James Wacoche, Buddy Lindsey and Flora Jackson.
He is survived by six children, Rose Meadows, Melissa Caywood, Denise Lindsey, Lewis Lindsey, Minnie Lindsey and Jack Lindsey. Also twenty grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great great grandchild. Also his sister, Leola Hill. He is also survived by a host of friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Danny will be 2 - 4 Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Wake services are scheduled for 7pm Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Weogufkee Baptist Church in Hanna.
Pallbearers will be, Hanson Lindsey, Freeland Lindsey, Johnny Powell, Jr., Anthony Cargil, Kyle Lindsey and Adam West.
Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Weogufkee Baptist Church with James Major McHenry officiating. Interment will follow in Weogufkee Church Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
