Max Vernon Lybeck, a resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, passed away on February 9, 2026, in Henryetta at the age of 80. He was born on October 7, 1945, in Salem Corners, Minnesota, to Vern Cyril Lybeck and Dorothy Evelyn (Krippener) Lybeck.

Max grew up in the Lutheran faith and worked for many years as a truck driver.

He was an avid lover of animals. He enjoyed swap meets and flea markets.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Robin Clemente.

He is survived by one son, Monty Wesley Lybeck (April); grandchild, Joshua Smith (Tracie Aday) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two brothers, Tracy Lybeck (Marva) of Lamar, Missouri, and Mark Lybeck of Lamar, Missouri; and four great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Amelia, Corben and Layla.

No services are planned at this time.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.
