H. Marshall Weese

H. Marshall Weese, a resident of Dewar passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 in Tulsa at the age of 68. He was born March 31, 1948 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Marshall was a Veteran of the Viet-Nam Conflict serving with the United States Army. He married Shirley Rayburn Mahan, June 13, 1972 in Gallatin, Tennessee. He was a member of the Jubilee Christian Center in Okmulgee; Tulledega Masonic Lodge, American Legion and the International Operating Engineers Union. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Irene Welch, also by Herbert Weese, and a granddaughter, Caitlyn Jones. Marshall is survived by his wife Shirley of the home in Dewar; Two daughters: Kaye Ashley of Henryetta; Kim Mahan of Schulter; A grandson: Jason Ashley & wife Misty of Henryetta; A great-granddaughter, Raigen Ashley of Beggs; Two sisters: Sandy Milam of Dewar; Carol Griffin of Cleburn, Texas; One brother: Doug Welch & wife Julia of Bixby; Also by a host of friends and other relatives. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Westlawn Cemetery with Rev. Dale Litsey & Rev. Tommy Freeman, officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
