Lola May Nero, a resident of Grayson, Oklahoma, passed away on June 17, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 30. She was born on September 14, 1995, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Early Nero Jr. and Carolyn Nero.
Lola was a bright light to those who knew her. She had a loving heart and a special way of comforting others whenever they were sad. Her smile, kindness, and gentle spirit brought joy to her family and friends.
She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, and spending time with the people she loved. Lola was a devoted fan of WWE wrestler Roman Reigns, whom she affectionately referred to as her husband. She also never turned down a trip to McDonald's, especially when it involved her favorite 10-piece chicken nuggets.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Nero, and her nephew, Jeremiah Rich.
Lola is survived by her father, Early Nero Jr. of Grayson; her sister, Toyra Rich of Beggs; her brother, Early Nero III of Grayson; and her twin sister, Crystal Nero of Hitchita. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, Imani Rich, Ju'Lyssa Rich, Jermain Richardson, and Jynesis Perez, along with many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the United Pentecostal Church in Dewar, Oklahoma, with Rev. Matthew Martin officiating.
