Kenneth Raymond Barnett

Kenneth R. Barnett was born on December 12, 1950 and passed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 75.

He was raised in Weleetka, where he graduated high school. After graduation he joined the army as an infantryman.

After the military he married and had two boys, Palmer Barnett and Kevin Barnett. Throughout his life he resided at the family homestead in Wetumka, OK.

Kenneth was a very comical person, sure loved to aggravate all family members that came around him. He always was a very easy going person, caring and stubborn.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Myrtle and Palmer Barnett; David Barnett (nephew); Beth Barnett (niece); Angela Barnett (niece); Patricia "Boso" Barnett (niece) and many others.

He leaves behind his two sons and daughters in-law, Palmer and Deonna Barnett, and Kevin and Melissa Barnett; 11 grandkids plus four great-grandchildren, sister Patty Barnett; brothers Sandy Barnett, Wesley Barnett and Billy Barnett; sister Betty Lazanno; plus a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many more relatives.

Wake services are scheduled for 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Springfield United Methodist Church in Okemah.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Springfield Untied Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Barnett Family Cemetery in Wetumka.
