John Brant Voyles

John Brant Voyles, a resident of Henryetta, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, at the age of 79. He was born on Monday, November 19, 1945, in Decatur, Illinois, to Reyburn Voyles and Margaret Louise (Lowery) Melhorn.

John proudly served his country in the United States Army. He later dedicated several years of his life to law enforcement as a police officer. Outside of work, he enjoyed collecting police patches, a hobby that reflected both his service and his passion.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, LaRue Melhorn; his sisters, Marsha Crawford, Evelyn Cook, and Patricia Belcher; his brother, Reyburn Wyatt Voyles; as well as several nieces and nephews.

John is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Jo Voyles of the home; his son, Justin B. Voyles and wife Kristie; his daughter, Cynthia J. Okerson and husband Shawn; his grandchildren, Tyler B. Okerson, Scott A. Okerson, Riley C. Okerson, Abbigail P. Voyles, and Cody L. Voyles; his sister, Verna Mae Hoffman and husband Donald. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Graveside memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 Thursday, September 11th 2025 at Okmulgee cemetery with Rev. Victoria Bonat ,officiating. Service are under the direction of Integrity funeral service.
