John Artussee, a resident of Weleetka, passed away September 28, 2026 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 79. He was born Thursday, March 13, 1947 in Prineville, OR to John Artussee Sr. & Ruth (Taylor) Artussee.

Viewing will be from 2-5 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Taylor, officiating. Interment will follow at the Artussee Family Cemetery with military honors provided by the Muscogee Nation Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Maker, Chris Maker, Jason Horn, James Hendrix, Colby Winterbower, and Pete Artussee.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bubba Harjo, Bing Gann, Tom Farrow, and Jay Schuppener.

Services are under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
