Joe Billy Dwiggins, a resident of rural Weleetka passed away May 3, 2025 at his home. He was born March 22, 1935 in Parker, Oklahoma to Willie Dwiggins and Ellie Rose (Waters) Dwiggins. He married Joy Ennis December 20, 1952 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. He worked mainly as a rancher, but also had worked at Eagle Picher Smelter until its closing, PPG industries in Henryetta, an Okmulgee Glass Company as well Anchor Glass Company in Henryetta. He was well know to be able to fix anything, he built his own home and was also a rancher. He loved his time outdoors and most of all his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Joy Dwiggins, a son, Gary Dwiggins, a grandson, Brian Sweat, brothers, Garland Dwiggins, Van Dwiggins, Hare Dwiggins and Johnny Dwiggins; sisters, Niva Hughes, Hazel McClellan, Letha Cook and an infant sister, Mary.
He is survived by three children, Donald Dwiggins of Sapulpa; Deborah (Debbie) Sweat of Henryetta, Randy Dwiggins and wife Penny of Henryetta; Seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Viewing for Joe will be Thursday, May 8th, 2025 from 2:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be,Randy Dwiggins, II, Gary Dwiggins, II, Garrett Hardesty, Eric Dwiggins, Cameron Pineda, & John Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be, Eric Sweat,, Randy Dwiggins, Donald Dwiggins, Ricardo Pineda & Jimmy McClellen.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 9th, 2025 at Integrity Chapel followed by interment in Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka, Oklahoma. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
