Janice Kay Peters, a beloved resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 78.
Janice was born on April 8, 1947, in Rock Island, Illinois, to Albert L. Natwick and Halcyon (Fulcher).
Throughout her life, Janice was known for her strong work ethic and compassionate spirit. In the 1980s, she worked for Morris Dispatch, later serving in surveillance at the Creek Nation Casino, and eventually managing Highlander Laundry.
Janice had a vibrant personality and a wide range of interests. She loved crocheting, cooking, baking cookies with her grandchildren, shopping, and playing card games with family. Her warmth and creativity touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother Greda Natwick, and her brother Larry Natwick.
Janice is survived by her daughter, Sharon Diltz of Aledo, Illinois; her son, Scott Jones, and his partner Tabitha of Dewar, Oklahoma; her cherished grandchildren: Melissa, Karen, Barbie, Taylor, and Stormie; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Viewing is scheduled for Saturday, May 24th, 2025 from 2-8pm.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
